Another attack on a foreign student in St. Petersburg

On January 7, 2005, in St. Petersburg, near the Chernaya Rechka metro station, several young people who looked like skinheads beat up a Pakistani citizen, a student of the Pediatric Academy. One of the group of young people attacked the foreigner, struck the 23-year-old Pakistani with a stick several blows on the head and legs, after which others began to beat the student. When passers-by tried to stand up for the foreigner, the attackers fled. In hot pursuit, the raiders could not be detained.
