A group of skinheads was detained in Bryansk

On January 9, 2005, the Bryansk police detained more than 20 young people, mostly schoolchildren and vocational school students.

A group of young men armed with baseball bats, wooden sticks, pieces of rebar and scraps of steel pipes aroused the suspicions of the patrol officers. Teenagers actively resisted detention, for which they were brought to administrative responsibility.

After a check at the police station, it turned out that one of the young people was connected with skinheads and in August 2001 took part in the mass beating of three US citizens. Then, by the decision of the Bezhitsky District Court, he was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. He was sentenced to 2 years of suspended liberty with a probationary period of 2 years.

Adult detainees were brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 20.1 and 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, administrative responsibility of minors under Art. 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation ("Failure by parents of minors' obligations to support and educate minors") is assigned to their parents.
