On January 30, 2005, in the north of Moscow, under unclear circumstances, a 42-year-old district police officer of the Levoberezhny police department, a Muscovite, an ethnic Chechen, Isa Tibolaev, died.
The murder took place late in the evening a few hundred meters from his house; the policeman was returning from the guests, he was not in uniform and not with weapons.
The body was discovered by passers-by in the area of Belomorskaya Street around 23:00. The inspector received about 30 stab wounds, from which he died on the spot. The criminals did not touch the documents and money of the victim.
According to MK, the only witness saw about a dozen young people at the crime scene.
According to "MK", the investigation has several versions. According to one of them, the murder was committed by skinheads. According to another, Tibolaev was dealt with by his "compatriots", members of a local criminal group. The latter, according to law enforcement agencies, repeatedly tried to establish contact with the policeman, but Tibolaev refused to deal with the bandits. However, simple hooligan motives for the murder are not excluded.
A criminal case has been initiated.
