The campaign for elections to municipal authorities in the Rostov region was marked by a series of scandals. Yury Zabolotny was successfully registered for the post of head of the Ust-Donetsk region, and two hours later he was summoned to the election commission, his candidate's certificate was taken away and the document was shredded with scissors - after which they explained that Zabolotny had been denied registration.
Zabolotny still had photocopies of his certificate, a receipt from the district household where he laminated the document, there are witnesses to whom he showed the certificate. After the completion of the prosecutor's check, Zabolotny intends to go to court.
From the documents of seven candidates for deputies to the Novocherskassk City Duma on the list of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the decisions of the electoral bloc on their nomination disappeared. There are decisions of the regional and city conferences on their nomination, there are also confirmations that the necessary papers were handed over to the election commission. The loss was discovered by the rivals of the victims, who wrote complaints that, after getting acquainted with the documents of the competitors, they discovered that the package of documents was not complete, and on this basis demanded that the rivals be denied registration. The electoral committee cannot explain what happened. The victims turned to the police, the FSB and to the court.
