Human rights activists consider the events in Blagoveshchensk a mass beating of residents

On March 1, it became known that human rights activists had completed their own investigation into the police operation in Blagoveshchensk. “According to our assessment, there was a mass beating of residents in Blagoveshchensk ,” said the chairman of the Moscow Helsinki Group, Lyudmila Alekseeva. “ In our recommendations, we talk about the need for the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bashkiria, Rafael Divaev, and his deputy Smirnov . ” Alekseeva said that the presentation of the report with the results of an independent investigation of the events in Blagoveshchensk will take place in Moscow on March 3, and copies of the reports will be sent to the Prosecutor General's Office and the Russian Interior Ministry.
