Skinheads in notebooks

On March 18, 2005, Komsomolskaya Pravda announced the release of school notebooks depicting "bestial skinheads with chains on their sides and a detailed indication of the details of the uniform on one side and with a dictionary of the most popular sayings of skinheads on the other" , with a circulation of 200 thousand copies, by the publishing house " Irbis-press".

The inspection of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate showed that the cover for notebooks was printed in Tver at the Children's Literature plant. In "Irbis-press" these notebooks were refused. However, investigators of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate did not find anything illegal in these notebooks.

According to the newspaper Kommersant, there is no evidence that notebooks with skinheads are being sold in Moscow even now. The FEOR statement appeared after the scanned covers of these notebooks were posted on the website compromat.ru. However, the head of the public relations department of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, Borukh Gorin, claims that the notebooks went on sale in Moscow.

On March 21, 2005, the Moscow prosecutor's office began an investigation into the fact that school notebooks had been issued with the image of skinheads on the cover.

On September 20, 2002, it was reported about the release of exactly the same (judging by the cover design and the Irbis-press publishing house) notebooks . We were not able to find out for sure whether the current notebooks are an attempt to implement the old edition or whether this is a media error.
