On March 21, 2005, a mass beating of foreign students took place in Kaluga. In the evening in the city center a group of students of the Kaluga branch of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, citizens of the Republic of Myanmar (formerly Burma), was attacked by about 20 people aged 18-21.
Three of the ten victims underwent a medical examination, they recorded numerous bruises and bruises.
According to the victims, they were suddenly attacked from behind. The attackers, probably also students, were decently dressed and held tubes in their hands.
Two years ago, a similar incident was already registered in Kaluga. Then a group of skinheads beat up Vietnamese students, after which a high-profile trial took place.
