An attempt at an unauthorized Cossack rally in Novorossiysk was foiled

On April 2, 2005, employees of the internal affairs bodies of Novorossiysk stopped an attempt at an unsanctioned rally of Cossacks. Five organizers were detained. The local Cossacks were going to protest against the "dominance" of the Armenians and other "foreigners". The reason for this was a fight in a cafe in the Krasnodar Territory on March 21, 2005.

According to Izvestia Yug, the ROS (the same RNU) and some other extremist organizations have joined in "unwinding the situation . " Apparently, they were going to take part in the rally.

I would like to stipulate that ROS and RNU are different organizations. ROS is the Russian People's Union, which used to be Baburin's party. It is not entirely clear whether this statement is true for the Krasnodar Territory. Perhaps in this region they are the same people. Or the reporter got it wrong.
