And again about anti-Gypsy propaganda

On April 16, 2005, the Vecherniy Novosibirsk newspaper published an article about another trial of local drug dealers, one of whom turned out to be a gypsy. Not only is the ethnicity of the defendant emphasized in the article in extremely incorrect terms, the journalist Ilya Inzov does not hide his negative attitude towards the Roma in general: "Like many fellow tribesmen, Alexander earned his daily bread by small-scale heroin trade" .

Moreover, the journalist actually approves the recent arson of gypsy houses in Iskitim - the publication is called "Who is not destined to burn, he will end his life behind bars" .

We draw the attention of readers to the fact that the gypsy is not the only hero of the described criminal episode. The article also mentions "Inessa E., a native of the Republic of Kazakhstan" , but for some reason the journalist has no complaints about her.

Despite the fact that most of the Iskitim Gypsies left the city in winter, the campaign to discredit the Gypsies in the local press did not stop.
