An Armenian citizen was beaten in Tolyatti

On April 19, 2005, on the eve of Hitler's birthday, in Togliatti, three teenagers at the Gagarin Street trolleybus stop near the city park beat up an Armenian citizen. This incident became known from a material published in the Togliattinskoye Obozreniye newspaper on July 6, 2005, after the trial of the criminals.

As it turned out during the investigation, on the evening of April 19, the teenagers decided to "go on a raid," which meant finding and beating "a person of Caucasian nationality." Noticing a suitable candidate at the bus stop, one of them asked a native of Armenia for ten rubles as a distraction, and the second, sneaking up behind him, hit him with a piece of metal pipe. A third, armed with a chain, immediately joined the massacre. The attackers continued to beat the victim, who had fallen to the ground, until the women who were nearby raised a cry. After that, the raiders fled in different directions.

The victim received a concussion, as well as numerous bruises and abrasions.

One of the attackers was immediately caught by the acquaintances of the victim, who rushed from the nearest cafe. The rest were identified and detained by the police. Teenagers deny their belonging to "skinheads", as well as the temporal connection of the attack with Hitler's birthday (April 20).

At the end of June the criminals were convicted .
