What's worse than the "color revolution virus"

In "Komsomolskaya Pravda" for May 11 and 12, an article by Galina Sapozhnikova "Police cleansings" was published: Beating determines consciousness. The first part of the material is a report on meetings and conversations with the victims of "cleansings" in Bezhetsk, the second is analytical, dedicated to the danger of " revolution " .

The reporting part is mainly devoted to evidence that nothing outstanding happened in Bezhetsk, and the statements of Lev Ponomarev and Marat Khairullin about the connection between the "cleansing" in Blagoveshchensk and the intensification of the Bashkir opposition are not true: "In Tver Bezhetsk, strong guys with shaved heads and there is no connection between the rallies of the Bashkir opposition and the lawlessness of the police in Blagoveshchensk . Although G. Sapozhnikova admits that "the police beat those they are supposed to protect" , she actually justifies the use of force . The "victims" are colorfully described - clearly criminal types who clearly committed all the crimes that they are charged with.

In the current situation, the author concludes, both SOBR with OMON and human rights activists act unprofessionally. And "non-professionals can be manipulated. What professionals do with success: setting the riot police on the disobedient or forcing the press and human rights activists to raise a fuss in the name of other people's interests . " Meanwhile, "conflicts between the police and society play the role of petrels of revolutions . " However, there are currently no conditions for a "revolution" in Russia (the conditions are given, according to G. Sapozhnikova, necessary for a "popular explosion"), but this should not be reassuring.

Almost the main target of the article were human rights activists. Close-minded, gullible (and often corrupt) people (L. Ponomarev, M. Khairullin and several other people are mentioned in the article) protect active (and / or rich) "brothers" (and the poor, for example, in Rozhdestveno, they do not protect) and escalate hysteria in society and the press, which is beneficial to the future "black colonels" - whose coming to power G. Sapozhnikova considers very likely.
