They don’t want to register the “New Right”

On May 14, 2005, the New Rights party issued a special statement in which it accused the Ministry of Justice of delaying the registration of the party. "The founding congress of the New Rights was held in May 2004, and in November of the same year, a package of documents required for registration of the party was submitted to the Ministry of Justice in the manner prescribed by the legislation in force at that time. Since that moment, we have not received any certificate on registration, nor a motivated refusal to extradite him ," explains Vladimir Shmelev, leader of the New Rights. Shmelev also expressed concern that all this time checks are being carried out on the regional branches of the party.

The "New Rights" demand an answer, "on what basis were the checks carried out and who specifically instructed them to be carried out, as well as to provide either a registration certificate or a reasoned refusal to issue it within a week," the statement says.
