In the Tver region, a program has begun to build a network of hotel complexes, of which the Russian Orthodox Church is a participant.

In the Tver region, the implementation of the program of the Center for Investment Programs of the Russian Orthodox Church on the construction in the Central Federal District of a network of hotel complexes of the international classification "three stars" has begun. The Tver Region became the first region with which the Center for Investment Programs signed a cooperation agreement.

The founders of the Center were also the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Association of Russian Banks, etc. According to E. Shulgina, "under the agreement, hotel complexes will be built,

agricultural programs are being implemented, and it is also planned to revive the pilgrimage. Thanks to this, the Church will have sources of funding for charitable and social programs."

At the ceremony of signing the agreement, Governor Dmitry Zelenin stated that "the authorities must create conditions for the economic revival of the Church, while in no way forgetting the spiritual component." The governor hopes that cooperation with the Center will allow the region to more effectively develop the tourist network and pilgrimage.
