On June 28, at a meeting of the Vologda Regional Commission on Juvenile Affairs, it was decided to include representatives of the Orthodox Church in the commission.
According to the first deputy governor of the region, Ivan Pozdnyakov, "the issues of preventing delinquency and juvenile delinquency are issues directly related to spiritual and moral education." That is why the members of the commission consider it necessary "that representatives of one of the largest religious organizations be aware of the problems, know the statistics of these processes and actively participate, together with the state and other public organizations, in resolving them."
