A gypsy woman was beaten in Nizhny Novgorod
On July 1, 2005, a 17-year-old girl from among the gypsy migrants from Tajikistan was beaten up at the Oka congress in Nizhny Novgorod. She received several cut wounds to her face.
According to the preliminary version, the cause of the incident was "excessive perseverance of the victim when collecting alms" .
