On July 6, 2005, the Moscow City Court dismissed the protest of the public prosecutor T. Kondratyeva regarding the decision of the Timiryazevsky District Court against the well-known neo-Nazi Viktor Korchagin. Recall that on June 6, 2005, Korchagin was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting ethnic hatred), but released from the execution of the sentence "due to the expiration of the statute of limitations."
As a result, the judges of the Moscow City Court upheld the decision of the district court, deciding to leave the accuser's cassation complaint unsatisfied.
