Attack on a black man in Moscow

On August 2, 2005 (the day of the Airborne Troops) in Moscow on Zubovsky Boulevard, three drunken paratroopers tried to attack a black passer-by. According to an eyewitness, "he was surrounded, his hat was torn off ..." . The beating was prevented by passers-by (among whom was director Dmitry Astrakhan), who stood up for the dark-skinned foreigner. The attackers "threw their hats in the mud and left..."
