Skinhead convicted in Novorossiysk

On August 15, 2005, a closed court session was held in Novorossiysk in the case of 18-year-old member of the Russian National Liberation Movement Alexei Glukhov, who inflicted grievous bodily harm on a gypsy. The court determined the punishment - two years in prison.

Police officers revealed 4 attempts by skinheads to distribute leaflets with the demand " "not to let the young Cossack be sued . During the court session, Novorossiysk was blocked, for the protection of the forces of 5 city district police agencies, the OMON of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Krasnodar Territory - about 500 people were involved. Picketing was prohibited by the city authorities.
