Orthodox Christians in Novosibirsk protested against holding a conference of Jehovah's Witnesses in the city

From August 5 to August 7, Novosibirsk hosted a regional conference of Jehovah's Witnesses, which was attended by about 2,500 people representing Omsk, Tomsk and other Siberian cities. This event provoked a protest from the Orthodox - members of the local Alexander Nevsky Brotherhood, who took to the streets with posters "Beware of deceivers!", "Sects kill the soul, cripple the psyche, take away property," etc.

IA Russkaya liniya , reporting on this action, reproached the authorities of Novosibirsk for "conniving at totalitarian sects": "The fact that this is one of the most dangerous totalitarian sects in the world is not enough for Novosibirsk officials, they are not impressed by the ban on this " organizations" in Moscow...
