The estate of Zakhary Shcherbak - the grandfather of Alexander Solzhenitsyn - in Novokubansk, contrary to the assurances of the governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev, will not be transferred to the parish of the local Holy Intercession Church, which has occupied this building for eight years. According to the newspaper "Tribuna" , the commission of the regional department of culture recognized the estate as an architectural monument that needs restoration. Believers will have to vacate the building. The authorities are planning to build a temple in a new place, for which they promise to allocate funds.
