Undertaking not to leave for Kazan

On August 25, 2005, almost all activists of the National Bolshevik Party in Yekaterinburg were visited by district police officers and demanded a receipt that they were not going to go to Kazan to "make riots there."

Oleg Shargunov, the leader of the Yekaterinburg branch of the NBP, told the New Region news agency that the district police officer asked if Shargunov was going to go to Kazan, and then demanded that he write a receipt addressed to the head of the Verkh-Isetsky district police department. According to Shargunov, the police similarly visited almost all members of the local branch of the NBP, and some of the National Bolsheviks were visited by three law enforcement officers, " and the distributor of the Limonka newspaper was even asked to appear for a conversation with the FSB" .
