On the evening of August 29, 2005, a mass brawl occurred on Avtozavodskaya Street in Moscow. Initially, information appeared that a crowd of shaven-headed youths (according to other sources, the attackers were wearing masks) armed with baseball bats attacked four Azerbaijanis. Residents of nearby houses reported this and called the police. However, it later became clear that the victims of the attack were activists of the National Bolshevik Party.
The police who arrived at the scene managed to detain the attackers , who tried to escape from the scene on a PAZ bus.
On August 31, it became clear that the attack was carried out by Spartak fans - employees of the Gladiator private security company, who collaborate with the Nashi movement.
