Nashi rally banned in Vladimir

According to the radio station "Echo of Moscow" dated August 30, 2005, Vladimir's administration refused to allow the "Nashi" movement to hold a "Without Words" action in memory of the victims of Beslan.

The city administration said that "the anniversary of the Beslan tragedy is not a reason for a rally . " In addition, the representative of the administration added that "Nashi" is not registered in the city as an organization - and this is also a reason for refusal.

If Nashi hold a rally, its participants will have to refrain from making political statements. In addition, they will have to remove all posters announcing the rally from city poles.
