According to information coming from the press service of the National Bolshevik Party, the people detained for the attack on left-wing activists on Avtozavodskaya Street on August 29, 2005, were released on the instructions of Nikita Ivanov, an employee of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, who arrived at the Danilovsky police station.
Nikita Ivanov holds the position of deputy head of the Russian President's department for interregional and cultural relations with foreign countries, however, according to the NBP press service, he also heads the secret department for tracking the activities of youth organizations and oversees the Nashi movement.
