Dispersal of the "Anti-Capitalism 2005" march in Samara

On September 11, 2005, the Anti-Capitalism-2005 march was dispersed in Samara and about 30 activists of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP), the Union of Communist Youth (SKM) and the Vanguard of the Red Youth (AKM) were detained.

The detainees were taken to the Kirovsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Samara, where they were charged under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“violation of the rules for holding a rally”). According to the activists, the police officers behaved rudely: they beat the detainees and tried to rip off their clothes.

On October 18, 2005, it became known that the leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation filed a protest with the prosecutor's office of Samara on the fact of illegal dispersal of the procession, and the prosecutor's office accepted the protest for consideration.
