A rally participant in Noginsk was detained

On September 11, 2005, after a permitted rally organized by the Noginsk branch of the Union of Communist Youth (SCM), police officers detained Pavel Tarasov, an assistant to a deputy of the State Duma from the Communist Party faction, announcing that he was suspected of committing a crime (without specifying which one).

The policemen, who only under pressure showed their service certificates, forced Tarasov to get into a police car and took him to the 2nd police department of Noginsk.

First Secretary of the Noginsk District Committee of the Communist Party Yu.E. Khripunov made an official statement in this regard.
