Member of the RIN Presidium doubts that National Unity Day should be celebrated

Maxim Shevchenko, a member of the presidium of the public movement "Russian Islamic Heritage", is not sure of the need to celebrate November 4 as the Day of National Unity . In an interview with Ekho Moskvy, he said: "You can say that this is a holiday of self-consciousness, or maybe this is a holiday that was falsified by the Romanov dynasty."

In addition, M. Shevchenko believes that the victory in the Battle of Kulikovo is considered a holiday by the imperialists.
