In Krasnogorsk, near Moscow, traffic police officers are instructed by an Orthodox priest before entering the service. The priest teaches traffic police inspectors to be guided by biblical commandments when dealing with violators, first of all, love for one's neighbor.
Before the start of the shift, the priest of the Znamenskaya Church in Krasnogorsk serves a prayer service, sprinkles the personnel with holy water and explains to traffic inspectors that even reckless drivers should be fined with love in their hearts. Batiushka also conducts practical exercises with the instructed traffic police officers: violators are stopped right at the fence of the temple, behind the sign “no entry”, documents are checked and conversations are held. The drivers, shocked by the politeness of the traffic cops, immediately go to bless the car, and at the same time receive a prayer "from recklessness."
Recall that the priests have shown interest in the rules of the road for several years.
