A Thai citizen was beaten in Yekaterinburg

In September 2005, in Yekaterinburg, an attack was made on a student from Thailand - a master's student at the Ural State University.

In the afternoon in the city center near the supermarket on March 8th, a group of Thai students were approached by four young men and two girls. According to Lyudmila Mironova, head of the department for work with foreign students at USU, "the guys started kicking and beating" one of the students, trying to drag him into the mud .

The student was not seriously injured. The university administration called the police, but no one was detained.
