Barnaul police against NDPR agitators

On September 5, 2005, law enforcement officers in Barnaul detained two NDPR activists for distributing nationalist leaflets.

The leaflets calling for uniting under the banner of patriotism spoke of "the destruction of the Russian people as a species" , "ethnic reformers" and required "replace all pro-Western cadres with national Russians" .

Campaigning was conducted at a rally of workers of the local chemical fiber plant, who opposed the reduction.

Initially, the police simply asked to stop distributing NDPR materials, and when this did not happen, the undistributed leaflets were confiscated and the agitators were detained. The grounds for the detention, unfortunately, are not known (according to the extremely doubtful, in our opinion, version of the detainees themselves, the issue of initiating criminal proceedings against them under Article 282 was decided).

An hour and a half later, the NDPR-sheep were released.
