In Voronezh, city authorities did not support the March against Hate

On October 15, 2005, the authorities of Voronezh refused to support the March Against Hatred , which was conceived by civil organizations as a solidarity march against Nazism in the city together with the authorities. The procession was "cancelled", and the youth's proposal to representatives of the city authorities to join the column met with complete misunderstanding and surprise.

"We are shocked by the attitude of the authorities towards us ... It is a pity that the authorities do not understand how important it is to rely not only and not so much on police measures, but on civil society.
