RCFS want to ban again

On October 25, 2005, during a court hearing in the case of the Russian-Chechen Friendship Society (RCFS) in the regional court of Nizhny Novgorod, Oleg Kocherov, representative of the Main Registration Department for the Nizhny Novgorod Region of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, suddenly announced that the plaintiff had returned to the original claims and asked Judge Samartseva to immediately eliminate the RCFS. Earlier, the plaintiff's representatives stated that they had practically no claims against the RCFS, and the claim, after a series of formalities, would be withdrawn.

The executive director of the RCFS, Stanislav Dmitrievsky, attached to the case file a response to the statement of claim, which states that the plaintiff's claims to liquidate the organization are illegal, since the information he requested for verification was provided several months ago, and the delay in its provision was due to objective reasons. Court adjourned until 2 November 2005
