On September 27, 2005, in Vladimir, in front of the administration building of the Vladimir Region, an unauthorized rally (according to some sources, a religious procession) of Orthodox Christians took place.
The participants of the rally marched around the building and stood on the square in front of the administration. In the hands of the protesters were icons and slogans "Lord, save the Russian land from foreigners" and "Lord, protect our children from corruption, drug addiction and drunkenness . "
The protesters put forward several demands, including to stop the criminal lawlessness of ethnic criminal groups, to restore the rule of law that was under Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky.
The participants composed a petition, which the ideological leader of the protesters Father Seraphim took to the reception room of the governor N. Vinogradov.
