On November 3, 2005, a preliminary hearing was held in Nizhny Novgorod in the case of Stanislav Dmitrievsky, editor-in-chief of the Pravo-Zaschita newspaper, accused under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. During the hearing, Judge Bondarenko rejected both petitions of the accused and his defense lawyers in one ruling - to exclude inadmissible evidence from the case and to dismiss the case due to the absence of corpus delicti.
