On the evening of November 10, 2005, Nadezhda Pavlova, an activist of the Union of Right Forces and a member of the precinct election commission, was severely beaten in Ivanovo.
According to Sergei Valkov, chairman of the Ivanovo Regional Human Rights Commission, N. Pavlova was posting election leaflets on the street. At that time, unknown persons attacked her, kicked her, broke her jaw, inflicted other injuries and fled the scene of the crime after a bystander intervened. At the same time, the attackers were not interested in either the purse, or the gold chain, or the victim's bicycle.
According to S. Valkov, N. Pavlova is in the regional hospital. Other details of the incident are unknown.
