The Motherland party has slightly changed the pre-election video , which caused accusations of inciting ethnic hatred. Keeping the old "picture", the party members completely replaced the audio sequence.

Now, instead of "Caucasian" music, Arabic music sounds, and the message of the text sounds in French with off-screen translation. Accordingly, instead of the phrase "Do you understand Russian" , deputy Popov addresses his opponent with the words "Do you understand French?" .
