Fascist rally in Syktyvkar

On November 20, 2005, a rally was held in the central square of Syktyvkar, organized by the "Union of National Revival" (SNV), whose members call themselves "Russian fascists". The rally was attended by 20 people, mostly young people from 14 to 20 years old. Later, about 40 skinheads joined the protesters. The posters held by the rally participants called for the unification of the "indigenous" peoples of Russia (in particular, the Komi and Russians) and the salvation of the motherland from migrants.

Skinheads (whose ranks are replenished in the city mainly from hockey fans of the local Stroitel club), who came to the rally after the hockey match, chanted "Russia for the Russians" and threw up their hands in a fascist greeting.

At the end of the rally, all participants were given the second issue of the fascist newspaper "Stenogram" and a leaflet with the call "Russian help the Russian" , a selection of press reports about crimes committed by representatives of other ethnic groups, and the demand to limit migration and tough measures against illegal immigrants and their " accomplices . " The newspaper was published with a circulation of 990 copies and contains a note: "The newspaper does not pursue the aim of inciting ethnic hatred" .

regarding the leaflets and newspapers distributed in the 20 November Square.

The previous fascist rally on November 4 was stopped by the authorities. This time, the police present on the square did not attempt to stop the action.
