On the evening of December 1, 2005, police stormed the apartment of lawyer Maksim Gasovich in Moscow, who was helping the National Bolshevik Party prepare documents for registration of the party. Police officers opened the door with special equipment, beat Gasovich's relatives and seized documents and computers that were in the apartment.
About 20 National Bolsheviks were detained, who had come to the aid of M. Gasovich and were trying to resist the police, as well as journalists (it is known that REN TV and Kommersant newspaper correspondents were detained) and lawyer Jalil Sirozhidinov, who were taken to several Moscow police departments (Brateevo, Northern and Southern Orekhovo-Borisovo).
Some (including D. Sirozhidinov) were beaten.
