On December 3, 2005, a search was carried out in the apartment of the leader of the Rodina youth party, Sergei Shargunov.
At about 9:30 am, police officers arrived and told Shargunov's wife, Anna, that her husband had been put on the wanted list, and a little later FSB officers appeared and searched the apartment.
Near the house of Shargunov, at the entrance to the building of the executive committee of the party, where the leader of the youth "Motherland" was located, the duty of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was established.
On the morning of the same December 3, 2005, the criminal investigation officers invaded the apartment of another leader of the youth "Motherland" Oleg Bondarenko and demanded a receipt that on December 4, 2005, on the day of the elections to the Moscow City Duma, Bondarenko would not participate in mass events.
