An Armenian was beaten and wounded in Moscow

On December 5, 2005 at 19.30 in Moscow on Polbina Street, as a result of a fight with the use of knives, a native of Armenia, a 34-year-old resident of the Penza region, was stabbed.

According to witnesses, the attackers appeared to be 17 years old.

The district police department reports that there was no mass brawl in Pechatniki and refutes the version that the attackers were skinheads. Law enforcement officers said that it was a robbery attack, without national overtones.

Earlier, a law enforcement source reported that there was a fight between workers from the CIS countries and young people. The appearance of young people indicated their belonging to extremist nationalist organizations - they were short-haired, in jeans and army-type boots.

The prosecutor's office opened a criminal case.
