The coordinator of the UCF was summoned to the counter-terrorism department

On December 8, 2005, it became known that Aleksey Shlyapuzhnikov, coordinator of the Vladimir regional branch of the United Civil Front (UCF), was summoned "for a conversation" to the department for combating terrorism.

The investigator wanted to receive from Shlyapuzhnikov all the documents related to the activities of the organizations - organizers of the picket in support of political prisoners that did not take place on October 26, 2005, and lists of their activists (the regional branches of Oborona, the UHF and the NBP were supposed to take part in the action). Shlyapuzhnikov refused to do so.

Shlyapuzhnikov also said that on November 29, 2005, he was stopped by two people who showed their identification cards of the regional department of the FSB and offered to get into the car for a short conversation. During the conversation, the same questions were asked as in the Department of Internal Affairs: they asked to provide lists, documents, disclose the source of funding, and inform about future plans. After an unsuccessful conversation, the FSB officers released Shlyapuzhnikov.
