The Muslim Spiritual Directorate of Karelia asks the Legislative Assembly of the republic to ban or limit the activities of gambling establishments in the region

Islam.Ru reports that the Spiritual Muslim Board of the Republic of Karelia appealed to the deputies of the Republican Legislative Assembly with a request to ban or restrict the activities of gambling establishments. "It is known what detrimental consequences entail the free time of citizens at slot machines, leading to a weakening of their family budget," the appeal says. The press service of the DUM states that Karelian Muslims expressed hope "for consideration of this issue in the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the adoption of a relevant bill that will improve the social and moral situation in the republic."
