The head of the Moscow RNE was convicted

In December 2005, Dmitry Maslov, head of the Moscow branch of the RNE (A. Barkashov), was convicted for attacking a police officer.

D. Maslov was detained on May 9 during a mass brawl between RNU activists and the police on the Highway of Enthusiasts.

The trial began at the end of August in the Perovsky Court of Moscow. After some time, the court returned the case for further investigation, and resumed its consideration only in November.

On December 20, 2005, D. Maslov was found guilty and sentenced to two years in a colony-settlement.

This is the second sentence for participation in the fight on May 9th. The first was handed down on October 18, 2005 by the Izmailovsky Court of Moscow, which sentenced RNE member Pavel Rudometov to a year and a half in a colony-settlement and a fine of ten thousand rubles.
