On December 28, at the Pilgrimage Center of the Moscow Patriarchate, a regular meeting of the joint working group was held to consider the problems that exist in relations between the Russian Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches. The meeting participants came to the conclusion that Orthodox children in Russian Catholic orphanages should have access to Orthodox worship and education. The Orthodox side is ready to provide all this.
The meeting participants also agreed to improve the mutual exchange of information and more actively inform the society about the concurring positions of the two Churches on various issues.
