The March of Life project started in Rostov-on-Don

In December 2005, in Rostov-on-Don, as part of the "Stop Fascism" campaign , under the auspices of the intercultural organization "Scythian National Congress", the "March of Life" project was launched.

According to the project coordinator Mikhail Badasyan, a 2nd year student of the political science faculty of the Russian State University, it is aimed at developing intercultural interaction in the city, reducing the level of discrimination among young people and provides for "information and educational work with students on the issue of intercultural communications" within three blocks - "information , educational and promotional " .

The implementation of the project began with painting over swastikas and nationalist inscriptions in the city. Actions were held twice - in December and in January. In February 2006, it is planned to organize a seminar on the development of lessons of tolerance for schoolchildren, together with the Jewish Youth Association of Rostov-on-Don and the Armenian Diaspora. The project will end in May 2006 with the March of Life dedicated to the memory of the victims of fascism and those who perished in the Great Patriotic War.
