On February 8, a two-week training course on the problems of counseling HIV-infected people for clergy and Orthodox specialists began. The course was organized by the Russian Round Table at the DECR and the Russian Orthodox University of St. John the Apostle the Theologian as part of the Russian Orthodox Church's program to prevent and combat the spread of HIV/AIDS. More than 30 representatives of the dioceses will receive the skills of psychological counseling for HIV-infected people and their loved ones.
