RNE picket took place in Ulyanovsk

On February 11, 2006 in Ulyanovsk, activists of the local branch of the RNU held a sanctioned "Russian picket" against the "genocide of the peoples of Russia." About 40 participants, dressed in black clothes and headbands depicting RNU symbols, marched in formation of two people from the RNU headquarters to the city center to Goncharov Square, where the picket took place.

The square was filled with police and riot police. After greeting them three times with the words "Glory to Russia" , the picketers began handing out leaflets to police officers, since there were no other spectators around, and the picketers were not allowed outside the square.

The picket lasted for about an hour. The picket was observed by representatives of the NBP, the "Defence" movement, as well as local antifa. Initially, right-wing radicals received information that, shortly before the start of the action, anti-fascists beat up a skinhead on his way to the picket. However, later the information about the beating was refuted by the right-wing radicals themselves.

During the picket, representatives of the antifa, located on the other side of the street, chanted into a megaphone "Fascism will not pass!" .
