Fight at an anti-fascist concert in the Gorbunov Palace of Culture

On February 17, 2006, a rock concert "For Russia without fascism, war and violence" was held in Moscow at the Gorbunov Palace of Culture, during which a fight broke out in the hall, provoked by a group of 20-30 strong young people. According to the Kasparov.Ru website, most of the attackers are Dynamo fans.

Even before the start of the concert, posters appeared in front of the building: "Do you think you are against fascism? You are against the Russian people . " Further, during the performance of the "Tom Patriot" group, which included Africans from Cape Verde, Ukrainians and Russians, crumpled papers were thrown at the host of the concert, Artemy Troitsky. Then the hooligans switched to speaking Africans.

During the performance of the Pakha-Pau group from Tver, a fight broke out. The anti-fascists present in the hall began to chant between songs: "Fascism will not pass . " In response, young people shouting "Russians, forward" put on gauze bandages and attacked the anti-fascists. The guards of the Gorbunov Palace of Culture tried to restore order, but this was only possible with the help of the police officers who were on duty in the foyer. The fight was stopped, the instigators were taken to the police department. According to preliminary data, about 15 people were detained.

The rock concert was intended as a continuation of the anti-fascist march . Concert under the slogan "For Russia without fascism, war and violence!" organized by the Anti-Fascist Committee, which held an anti-fascist march in Moscow in December. The committee includes Union of Right Forces, Yabloko, United Civil Front, Anti-War Action Committee, Anti-War Club, Soldiers' Mothers, Moscow Helsinki Group, Green Russia, Holocaust Foundation, Civil Assistance, Christian Democratic Club, Movement "For Human Rights".
