The trial of the killers of a Peruvian student began in Voronezh

On March 9, 2006, preliminary hearings began in Voronezh on the criminal case of the murder of Peruvian student Angelis Hurtado Enrique.

Recall that there are 13 teenagers aged 14 to 19 in the dock, who, in addition to murder, are accused of hooliganism and robbery of four representatives of the rap movement.

The direct killer, 19-year-old student of the Voronezh University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Igor Pavlyuk, faces 20 years to life imprisonment.

The court changed the measure of restraint for six defendants from arrest to recognizance not to leave, six others remained in custody. Another defendant was at large from the very beginning.
