Picketers detained in Barnaul

On March 25, 2006, participants in a sanctioned picket in support of NBP activist Dmitry Kolesnikov were detained in Barnaul .

The organizers of the picket - activists of the SCM and the NBP - applied for holding a picket, but on March 23, 2006 they were refused, because on the basis of the regional law, notifications for pickets are submitted only from a group of citizens in 3 days, and from organizations - 10 days in advance (the mentioned law was adopted on December 31, 2004, but since then there have been many such pickets). Nevertheless, the organizers decided to hold two individual pickets: one by a member of the Komsomol, the other by the National Bolsheviks.

During the picketing, the National Bolsheviks unfurled flags and banners and began to chant slogans. After that, the protesters were detained. Together with them, a Komsomol member was detained, who was holding an individual picket (he was released after an hour and a half without consequences), as well as two curious people who were not members of the SCM or the NBP - one was standing in the crowd, reportedly tying a pioneer tie, and the other photographed the action.
